we’ve formulated our cleansing balm without 1,300+ banned, potentially toxic ingredients including parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, petroleum -based ingredients, phenoxyethanol, and formaldehyde (to name just a few).
our cleansing balm was clinically tested and none of the participants experienced any allergic reactions.
yes! but as with any new product, we always recommend performing a patch test. apply a very small amount to one of the softer areas of your skin. observe for 12-24 hours. if no irritation or redness develops you are good to go!
we are a cruelty-free brand & do not perform any animal testing- ever.

currently, we are selling our cleansing balm online on the bette green website.
We accept PayPal and all major debit/credit cards.
when your order ships from our fulfillment center, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that includes a tracking number from a major US carrier. If there’s any delay in your shipment we’ll let you know right away via email or telephone. once an order has been shipped, we are unable to amend the order.
a sales tax will be charged on the merchandise total, where applicable. Taxes are calculated according to shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page.

our cleansing balm is 99.97% natural. however, we use a teeny tiny amount of iron
oxide to give it its blush hue.
yes, it is FDA approved for food grade as well as cosmetics. iron oxide in cosmetics is made synthetically. natural iron oxides cannot be used as color additives for cosmetics and personal care products in the US because it is much easier to control trace levels of heavy metals in a synthetically produced mineral than it is in a naturally mined mineral.

our cleansing balm contains coconut oil. The AmericanCollege of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) states: “Coconut is not a botanical nut; it is classified as a fruit, even though the Food and Drug Administration recognizes coconut as a tree nut. while allergic reactions to coconut have been documented, most people who are allergic to tree nuts can safely eat coconut. If you are allergic to tree nuts, talk to your allergist before adding coconut to your diet."
our cleansing balm contains tamanu oil. research suggests contact with tamanu oil may cause allergic reactions in some people. if you are allergic to tree nuts, talk to your allergist about using tamanu oil topically, since it's derived from a kind of tree nut.
our cleansing stick is made with love in sunny southern California.
we recommend using your bette green cleansing stick within one year and keeping it stored below 80 degrees.
we recommend opening products within 18 months of delivery.
yes! our partner lab is an ISO good manufacturing practices (GMP) certified manufacturing facility. the lab is a 100% wind powered facility.
yes! our cleansing stick is made in small batches to ensure optimal freshness and potency.
shipping & returns
currently, we ship to all 50 states in the USA. we do not ship to PO Boxes.
orders are shipped via UPS and USPS. after a package has left our shipping facility, we are no longer responsible for the package. please contact your local postal service facility for more information (USPS 1-800-222-1811). if a shipment has been delivered, but it’s not in your hands, the responsibility is yours.
we do not ship on the following major holidays:
